The preparation of a Family Report assessment is often sought to assist parents who are in dispute regarding the future parenting arrangements of their children. The living arrangements or the time children spend with either parent can be an issue they struggle to resolve. Sometimes there can be allegations a child may be at risk or there are concerns regarding their care with the other parent.
A Family Report provides a detailed and comprehensive forensic evaluation of the family circumstances. Both parents, the child/ren and occasionally additional family members or new partners are interviewed as part of the assessment. The evaluation also includes an assessment of each parent’s relationship with the child/ren. Recommendations are made to assist parents, solicitors and inform the Court regarding the best interests of the children. Mr. Neu can also attend Court Hearings to provide evidence regarding the Family Report assessment.
